The Old Post Office

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Old Post Office in Higham, Suffolk, with my family and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience! The property is a beautiful historic building that exudes charm and character, while still offering all the modern amenities one could need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside, with plenty of lovely walks and picturesque villages to discover nearby. And when you're ready to relax and unwind, the peaceful and tranquil setting of The Old Post Office provides the perfect retreat. The accommodation itself was spotlessly clean and well-appointed, with everything I needed to feel at home during my stay. The bed was beyond comfortable, the shower was excellent, and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils and the hamper was just perfect. We will definitely be back!!

Really nice house. Wonky walls and floors included. Not sure if the place was stripped back and insulated but even with the heat off, it was pleasantly warm. Amazing gardens that seem to go on forever. Needs a bit of TLC here and there but would happily recommend to anyone interested in a trip to the Essex/Suffolk border.
