I was at a real low when I first discovered Lucy's classes. I needed a place to escape to where I could gather my thoughts and indulge in some self care. The yoga sanctuary provided just that. I remember my first ever session, walking in with my stress bucket overflowing and anxious at starting a new class. As soon as I walked into the church I was greeted by Lucy, who's warm, infectious smile was like a ray of sunshine. The subtle scent of aromatherapy oils in the air and illuminated by candle light, I instantly felt at ease. The class was beautiful, gentle Hatha yoga moves and poses and even some balances to put us to the test, met with a few giggles as some of us fell over. Once suitably warmed up we then moved onto hearing a little bit about the oils used that are especially blended for each class. We were then invited to get comfy as we snuggled in our blankets/duvets which we brought with us and were taken through a lovely guided meditation, followed by some sound therapy and a very mini head massage. I have tried various yoga classes over the years but hands down, Lucy at the Yoga Sanctuary has it all. X

I've been going to Lucy's yoga classes for a few years now. I like to switch them up a little, sometimes the calmer meditative classes, sometimes the more energetic ones. The reason I started yoga was to find some balance to my stressful job and it truly transformed me. It's so much more than exercise, it's a lifestyle choice. Lucy is by far the best teacher there is. She has such a professional, caring, fun manner and is super knowledgeable about her yoga and it shows as she's very passionate about it. She even did some corporate yoga lessons at my place of work which were a big success. I can't recommend her enough and I can't wait to get back to the classes at the Trinity church, a lovely setting all year round. Thank you Lucy for guiding us through this difficult year, we couldn't have done it without your zoom yoga!

Ive been going to the Monday evening yoga, meditation and sound therapy classes for a few years now and love it. Lucy leads you through gentle poses and guided meditations each week that leave you relaxed and renewed. Sue is the essential oil and music director and her knowledge of oils and use of instruments creates a full body experience. Everyone should try it out and get as hooked as me
