My son has been in the A.S Judo club for over 8 years now, he's graduated to brown belt so in touching distance of his black belt which he could achieve potentially by his 18th birthday. It has been a character building journey for him having first taken up Judo at 8 years old in school. It became very much 'his' thing and he became noticeable stronger, more flexible and grew in confidence as he progressed. He has won club championships and competed in tournaments and it's great to see him in action, his speed of thought as well as his physical prowess. The level of instruction he has received at A.S Judo has been phenomenal really, he's regularly taught in A.S Judo sessions by international champions, ex British champions and the commonwealth champion ,which is amazing. He has made so many friends at the club and Alan Scott himself has always been supportive and encouraging. ...just wish i had had a judo club like A.S Judo when i was his age!
