Food is poor, overpriced. I got the the crown burger 17.95 for just a burger in a bun with a bit of lettuce chucked on the top. Needs improving..

Under new management and boy what a difference!! Congratulations to the new owners, it is 1000 per cent better in terms of decor, service, food, drink and ambiance! This pub was crying out for some love, and it has received it in spades. Had a lovely Bank Holiday Lunch and great wines which are reasonably priced. The other gastropubs in Cookham now have some serious competition!!
