Herries Nursery and Preparatory School

My son currently attends this wonderful school. You will find a warm welcome, family atmosphere and individually tailored teaching. We love the small classes, balance of academic excellence and fun, enjoyment, play and learning in nature. My son raves about the lunches, brilliant friends, caring teachers who go above and beyond. A hidden gem !

My children both attended Herries from nursery through to year 6 and were extremely happy there. There is a wonderful, caring, family atmosphere; all the children know each other and the staff get to know them well, nurturing and encouraging them. A very happy school - so much so both my two wish they were still there!

My daughter was a pupil. This is a fantastic independent preparatory/primary school (with a nursery too) that without being pushy helps children flourish. Small class sizes help, with outstanding teachers and a strong sense of being a family. The energy amongst the children and their passion to discover and learn is something quite unique and in my experience is a foundation that they carry forward when they leave in Year 6
