Saturday. A skeleton crew man the pharmacy. The pharmacist is a locum and crates litter the store. Some empty, some full. Customers are patients, in many uses of the word and wait at random spots for their prescriptions. Some of them have clearly been there a long while. My record is 40 minutes. A gentleman has been text by the pharmacy to collect his prescription but it's not there. He looks frustrated and I can understand it. It happened to me maybe 4 times before I gave up, changed my pharmacy to Boots in Flackwell and never looked back. As Dante said, long is the road and hard, that out of damnation reaches into the light.
