I started training with Ethan in February 2021 because I was approaching 50, was losing muscle-tone and strength, expanding around my middle and feeling unfit, lethargic and not very good about myself. I didn't want this to be 'me' going into my latter years! I'd tried going to classes at the gym and using the equipment by myself, but I had no real clue of the best exercises to do and how to do them to actually get results. I decided to ditch the gym membership and pay a trainer to come directly to my house. After 8 weeks of training with Ethan my strength and stamina have improved in leaps and bounds. I have increased the weights I was using at the start from 2.5kg to 5kg, tripled my push-ups from 5 to 16 (with knees down) and doubled the length of time I can hold a plank. I can also hold a conversation during the cardio exercises which I could definitely not do when I started! I have dropped four pounds, dropped an inch from my waist and hips and can see in photographs that my bum has lifted. My goal now is to progress to full body push-ups and keep improving on the definition in my arms and abdominal area. I'd also like to lose a couple more inches from my waist and hips. I have to admit, I found the first few sessions hard but because Ethan makes the sessions so varied, using a good mix of equipment and constantly introducing new exercises that I've not come across before, I find his training style makes it easy for me to keep going because I have no chance of getting bored. Also, now that I've been training for a while, with Ethan's encouragement I have discovered that I can perform exercises that I didn't think I'd be able to do; this has really increased my confidence and my determination to keep moving towards the next goal. If you want to improve your strength, get lean and improve your body shape, I would definitely recommend Ethan Hunt PT. It's so convenient to have him come to my house, tell me exactly what to do, I do it and I get results. I'm thrilled that I'll be going into the second half of my life with a strong, healthy body and a confident, can-do mindset!
