Kumon Maths & English

Whilst studying for my A Levels I have been a Kumon tutor teaching Maths and English. Not only has it been a great place to work, it has been very rewarding helping the younger children hone their core skills by using the Kumon methods. The atmosphere is relaxed and focuses on achieving results through practice. I will miss both colleagues and the children when I go off to university this summer.

My son joined Hazlemere kumon centre about a year ago. Kumon has helped him develop/boost his confidence and mastery of basic maths concepts like the times table, fractions which are so key to a child's success in maths.This would not have been possible without the daily practice tasks provided by thd programme and the one to one support from the tutors at the centre. They are amazing! Thank you so much Karen and your team for all the great work you do with the children.

Kumon is a good boost for children in general. The format (daily homework sheets to complete for maths and english) might not suite every child (my son found it boring) but when it works is great as it really helps boosting confidence and making pupil more secure at school as well. Karen is very good and helps with children development by tailoring the sheets around each individual child, his or her characteristics/behaviour and parent holiday plan. The team overall is very consistent and aligned to kumon practices when it comes to teach children or correct their mistakes. I would not hesitate to recommend Kumon Hazlemere to family and friends
