Rip-off! Strongly recommend avoiding using this company. No transparency on costs and was double what I was quoted! Perhaps better communication next time would help, but awful customer service.

I brought my Honda Izy to this shop on 04/04 for a repair quote. However, after not receiving any communication for over two weeks, I called them on 19/04 and left a voicemail, but did not receive a response. I called again on 20/04, and although they initially couldn't locate my mower or my name, they promised to provide me with a quote the following week. When I still hadn't heard back by 28/04, I called again and was told that I would receive the quote that same day. I followed up on 02/05, but was informed that the quote was not yet ready, so I decided to go collect my mower and request a refund for the quote fee of 20. However, upon arriving at the shop, they were in the process of pricing up my quote. I finally received the quote, which included the following: Estimate to repair - 20 Service Cost - 106.80 Oil - 15 Spark Plug - 7 Air Filter - 9.59 Recoil Assembly - 68.78 Nuts Recoil - 6.40 Workshop Material + Waste Disposal - 7.80 When comparing these prices to the cost of OEM parts found online, there was a 71% mark-up. The service fee also seemed excessive, considering that it mainly involved replacing the air filter, spark plug, and oil. I've included a video for context, which shows that servicing a GCV160 engine can take as little as 8 minutes. Additionally, customer service was lacking in my experience. Despite my willingness to support a small, local business, I was disappointed by the high prices and poor service. Looking at the reviews, this company's heyday be behind it.

I will never use these people again, awful experience and massively expensive - they were nearly 3 times more expensive than the dealer who serviced my other Cub Cadet (which is a bigger machine). They charged nearly 800 for a service on my Countax and for comparison the local guy who used to do it before he retired used to charge about 150. They quoted a price for a service plus a new Cutter deck and agreed it was final and then added 20% when it was time to pay. Having paid over 2k for the service plus a new cutter I then found that the throttle will not now stay open so the machine reverts to idle within a few seconds so you either have to drive with one hand on the throttle or put up with constantly slowing down and speeding up again every 10-15s. I now need to find somebody competent to fix it so that the machine is actually usable
