Deep disappointment with the service I received at Halfords Autocentre High Wycombe. I took my car in for a major service a few months ago, which they were unable to fulfil as they had overbooked and was understaffed, which they only informed me on the day. I agreed to rearrange the service for the following week. When I asked the staff at High Wycombe about the service report that was missing, they just stated that I hadnt paid for the service and that they wasn't there at the time. It was only after I spoke to customer service and upon proving that I had paid for the service they agreed to rectify the situation and provide a refund (customer service was very helpful - my disappointment is only at High Wycombe branch). The lack of transparency and the fact that I was charged for a service that was not provided on 2 occasions and wasnt informed of this on the second occasion is unacceptable. I would advise anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy car servicing to steer clear of Halfords Autocentre High Wycombe. I certainly will not be returning and will be sure to share my negative experience with others.
