Very shoddy company, staff members who through their used medical gloves in the front gardens. Staff who leave the key safe wide open ! Staff who turn off appliances at the wall...including the heating !! Staff who don't really care, so why do they call themselves "Homecare" what a joke

If you want a company that dumps clinical waste around your home because they're too lazy to lift up a bin lid and staff have absolutely no regard for basic hygiene and contamination issues, give them a call.

The majority of Mayfair carers lack adequate training and this is self confessed buy them . Windows constantly left open. Key safe left open ., leaving family member at risk They always seem to be in a hurry and will rush the personal care tasks . If you book an hour care they rush to do in half hour but still charge you for an hour. They are not friendly they just get on with the job which is poorly done, and do not communicate in a friendly manner, no empathy not caring , its just a job to them and a very easy to get , anyone who goes for a job at Mayfair generally gets it with no experience or training !!!Shower not cleaned, toilet left dirty, commode left dirty, curtains left open, lights left on all over . They are really sloppy. The office staff do not do anything or pull them up if you complain that is why the poor care continues . Even if you go further to the regional manager it is even worse as she defends them and lies when you report them because you cant really prove as its their word against yours they will deny everything . I have sent pictures and they still deny everything and management fo nothing .The manual written log is constantly falsified , the carers lie about times .Beware of the The regional manager she comes in the first instance making out she wants to resolve and will befriend you then she switches and she is the worst liar in the company she lies to defend Mayfairs name. After complaining and no resolution as they will not uphold anything you say the regional manager knows that in general people do not go to the ombudsman but you must take it to the ombudsman as they will always get away . Staff abused and hit family member and he was suspended but the regional manager still said no evidence , he left before they fired him so he still hit his pension. . I was never questioned by them in the fact finding . I emailed them and verbally told them . I have picture , camera and video evidence but they are still denying everything to CQC because they know CQC cant act on it they can only decide if a inspection is necessary . The Ombudsman can act on all the complaints though. Look at the rating even before mine proves what a worthless company they are. Stay clear of them . Social services did the placement and with a Reveiw of 1.5 they should not of even approached Mayfair so shame on them !!!! Do not use Nayfair you will regret it.
