I went to the workshop ran by the British Library Business and IP centre, called Get Ready for Business. It was super valuable, considering its a free service. We were told how to build and business plan and lots of other useful information. Luke from Support for business and Anna were brilliant and made the day super fun, full of great stories, as well as informative. I highly recommend to head over to the business and IP centre section of the British library website and book yourselves onto it!

I have just attended Support for Business get ready for business for workshop and I have to say the workshop was really informative. Heather and Luke were great coaches and it is awesome that they run their own businesses which means they know what it takes. I came out of the workshop with actionable advice (access funding, creating a business model canvas, where to find resources for learning, etc) and confidence to pursue my own business. Keep up the great work!

Support for Business helped us at the early stages of starting up. We were looking at funding options to help given the high cost of machinery involved in our sector of manufacturing. They managed to identify the funding and help us through every step of the process, right through to receiving our grant funding. Were now in our second year of trading and have taken on further staff as a result of growth thanks to the support offered from Luke and Support for Business. Highly recommend their services and support they offer.
