Circuits is something I was always a bit scared of, not being very fit and having been told in the past that I didn't have much strength. However I lost a bit of weight, gained a little confidence and decided it was time to give it a go. Everyone at the Monday night session was so friendly and welcoming, they soon put me at my ease. There was a variety of exercises so you can work at your own level and Julian is very good and patient at demonstrating what you need to do. He also tells you which muscle groups you are working (or stretching) so you can know if you are feeling it in the right place or not! After a while I joined the Saturday morning class too which is similar, but different, with a different mix of people. I particularly love the Saturday class, it feels like a safe place to try out new exercises that I haven't done before. It has been really good to get back in person after running on Zoom throughout lockdown, I really feel that with two face to face sessions a week my fitness has improved. Julian's classes feel very Covid secure with ample precautions taken from the wearing of masks upon arrival and exit, taking of temperature on arrival, the availability of gloves and hand san throughout, no sharing of hand equipment, everything that is used being sanitised before and after, to the distancing of class members. Not once have I felt uncomfortably close to somebody else, which is not always the case elsewhere. If you have never given Circuits a go and are looking for something different to add to your fitness regime I can definitely recommend Fitter Longer.

Before lock down I attended Julian's keep fit sessions on a regular basis which are both challenging and enjoyable. His online classes during the lock down have kept me both sane and fit. He is extremely knowledgeable and often recommends other alternative exercises to accommodate / support various injuries and general aches and pains. Wonderful guy.

Julian has been my PT for the last few months, coming to my house to do training in my garden with my two friends. Julians really nice and really focused on getting us the results we want to achieve. He's also got a wide range of equipment he brings with him. He's planned lots of different types of workouts which has been really good to have such a variety. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a good PT.

I had previously joined Julian's classes only in the winter. I'm very much into cycling and in the summer months, I ditched my strength and conditioning training for time on the bike. Throughout lockdown, I decided to stick with Julian's classes even in the summer because they're so enjoyable, a good workout for the whole body and at times, one of the few ways we were able to interact with people. Having been doing weekly classes for over a year now, I have seen improvements not only in my general strength and body tone but also in my cycling performance. Julian's also a super nice guy and very enjoyable to train with.
