Great room, cosy, clean. Had opening windows and a bath which I like. Bath products were nice quality although who would pick phlegm green handsoap I dont know!!Downside is the TV hasn't caught up with the clocks going forward!! This is way confusing when you're shattered. Speaking of shattered the fire alarm went off 15 times in the night (yes someone counted!) There was a lot of rowdiness the same night but no mention of an issue next day. Was really cross that my room was serviced when I had my No Service sign on the door. This happened at Holiday Inn York too. Its annoying as I'd left my wallet and bag there. Evening restaurant service was rather slow but food was OK. There is a Five Guys just around the corner for faster service. Breakfast offering was OK, no museli but porridge was quick and nice offering of dried fruit, nuts and seeds. Very annoying though was everytime you left your table to get something like a drink the waitress would clear the table. I lost toast, juice, fruit, cereal none of which was touched so clearly not finished. This happened time and again despite being asked not to. We had to leave someone in charge of the table in the end!!
