The report provided by Panache Fire Services Ltd., which was subcontracted by them, did not offer any definitive position. It did not identify any particular measures that would ensure my proposed development would satisfy the requirements of Building Regulations. Accordingly, we would be unable to rely upon the report to demonstrate with any degree of certainty, that an option was available and that I would not be reliant upon providing a suitable access for a fire tender.
Panache Fire Services Ltd. acknowledged they needed to update their report. No updated report has yet been received and therefore, in my opinion, PFS Ltd. have not fulfilled their commitment.
Jason Little (Director) stated he would address my concerns but he didnt. This is despite me doing the work for him by getting a definitive position from the local Fire Safety Officer. All he needed to do was incorporate this into his report.
He previously said he would address my concerns if he received more details about the difficulties of the development site. We provided this information but he didnt respond back despite repeated requests. My only conclusion is that Panache Fire Services Ltd. dont know what they are doing and are wholly unprofessional. I have had to commission an alternative Fire Risk Consultancy company who have provided the appropriate report to our satisfaction.
I have therefore had to pay for this twice!
In the meantime Panache Fire Services Ltd have gone into voluntary liquidation. The same directors through PFS Network LTD bought the goodwill and are trading as Panache Fire Services. Be very careful when dealing with this Company!
