Londis

I bought a rose wine called 'Jouselet Rose' which smelt awful, so I tried to return it. The gentleman working at the Londis refused to refund or exchange this when clearly this product was not up to standard. The wine was undrinkable and yet there was no willingness to exchange despite the product potentially being a danger to health, as it clearly was off or made badly. It also said you could return the wine. The manager of the Londis said it couldn't be refunded and said that wine 'had no date on it', so there must have been complaints before. I will not be ever using this Londis, or another, again.

This shop has offers on display which are not currently active. They are relying on you not noticing the total is incorrect when you pay. This is misleading and when asked to honour the advertised deal as they should to comply with trading standards they refused and made up excuses for the deal being on display. They did not apologise for the error and did not acknowledge that they were in the wrong. I will not be shopping here again and would rather travel further to a more reasonable shop which understands customer service. I would advise the shop to only advertise offers when they are active before they find themselves in trouble with trading standards.
