Agree with the other reviews. Unhelpful, Unprofessional, claire is still the same after 10 years of working. Make more problems than there is, mistake to go there.

I thought refuges were supposed to make you feel safe and understand you, this refuge was the worst I'd been in, no sufficient evidence was put forward when someone made a false accusation and me and my children were thrown out in the street with a paid travelodge which was paid by government and 20 to feed my children, they wouldn't even let my children eat before they kicked us out and gave us 15 mins to pack everything. Clair the keyworker is one of the most terrible women I've ever met treating us bad and putting women down. I felt like she was discrimating against me because of her actions. Don't go here if you want to be happy this place is disgusting. There is no CCTV which means they drive to home at 4:30 and after that no WOMEN is safe.

Having lived there 5 months i can say the recent 'positive' reviews are from people who certainly were not there when i was! I left 6 weeks ago! Myself and other house mates lived with a perpertrator of abuse! I believe 4 familys lived this womans abuse and we were all treated like bullys for standing up against her! Tacey is an Absolute treasure however other members of staff were not kind or charitable at all. My baby daughter and i experienced days of being so cold because they control the heating! I really did not feel listened to and only now after leaving this place am i able to deal with my abuse due to dramas within the charity. I was hounded for money also even after rent money was stolen! my refuge place was threatened if i did not pay what they wanted. I was offered out of date foods like beans and spaghetti to live on as long as they got there money! I asked for my contract to be ended early as they couldn't facilitate my autistic childs needs! No follow up or communication only for money one month after leaving! This service needs to put the women first not their wages! On my date of leaving i held my sleeping daughter in my arms for an hour she is 3 stone! because i needed to wait for permission! permission for her to use a travel cot in another room not being used within my house! My daughters cot was packed and dismantled in the car!Disgraceful! Knowing my financial difficalties i was informed the day before leaving that due to 2 montths arrears i may not be helped to mobe which left me with great axiety and in tears for hours! They eventually agreed to move me which was planned in the local area for months. I mooved from this place into my tempory placement feeling very alone and.bursting with anxiety which i have needed to sort medical help for.
