I had a hand written training manual created by my grandfather that he used when flight training for the RAF during WW2. It was falling apart at the spine and generally disintegrating due to its age. I contacted master bookbinders by email and after sending them some photos of the damage they got back to me within a few days with a quote for the repair. I sent the book off and although the repair took a few weeks due to the challenges faced by the company during covid, they answered my emails promptly and in a kind and helpful manner, thereby keeping me up to date with the progress. When completed they sent me an invoice which was extremely quick and easy to pay and then on the same day sent my book back to me for next day pre 10.30am delivery. After unpacking, it was clear that the book had been repaired and strengthened extremely well, yet it still looked like the original book as they made an effort to keep the original covers for me. Overall very happy with the result and process and would highly recommend them for all your binding needs.

I ordered two bound portfolios from them and the service was great. The staff were helpful and professional throughout, turnaround was fast and the portfolios are really well made. Highly recommend.
