Bluegrass BBQ

Went back after over 1 year as my son wanted a burger. Food still not that great. I had the fit for a king burger and it was too much meat, quite dry and not much taste, without much sauce or anything else to moisten it. The service was absolutely appalling. You can only order from the app or at the bar. I asked 5 times for water and was basically ignored, so no water... We finished our mains and were waiting for my son's donuts for almost 30 mins. Asked 3 different people where the donuts were and one of them seemed even annoyed that I was asking "if you really ordered them, you will get them...". I had to chase the manager around the restaurant to ask for them. This is definitely the last time. _______________________________________ Quality of the food is not great. Out of the Pit boss platter only the chicken and the baby ribs were good. Brisket, burnt ends and pulled pork were quite dry and probably reheated from the day before. Portion is quite small considering how much they charge for it for 2 people. My son had a burger which tasted precooked and very dry. Chips were not great either. Had the same experience few months ago with a take away. Will not give it another try.

Had an absolutely fantastic evening at Bluegrass. Tegan is a such brilliant server - friendly, charismatic, great sense of humour and made the evening so delightful! Knows the menu extremely well, was able to give really great recommendations according to our taste and was so 'on it'. Food was top-notch! "She has top banter," - Will. "She's perfect," - Erin.
