Wenzel's the Bakers

I think me and my friend are personally subsidising Wenzels via JustEat. We really enjoy their food and the meal deals, the Tuna or Ham Baguette (to quote my friend) are absolute units and are well presented considering they have to travel on the back of a bike or car. Via delivery apps the order is usually 10 minutes and is quick, I think they missed one item (via UberEats but I may of used a different branch) and we got a refund via Uber. In Store they can get very busy but staff are polite, patient and friendly and the max time has hit 5 minutes. Sausage rolls and hot bake products are not Greggs standard but the bread in their sandwiches is far better than them plus it all tastes so good. Weve always found it best to check the order before the driver leaves, but as we said theyve been awesome to me and my mate. No doubt well be back again very soon. They only lose a star on in-store waiting times.

Really disappointing repeat errors on orders being placed through Deliveroo. Special instructions are never followed. Sad. Good food otherwise

Dont bother ordering from Uber eats, they will miss a load of items from your order and wenzels have set up a policy not to refund you for any of their mistakes! Youll essentially be paying for items that will never arrive! Whether its the store itself or the delivery driver who knows however it is the store who should sort this out and make sure all items are received to the paying customer.

Cut corners compared to other branches. Chicken/bacon club baguette wasnt cut through so there wasnt as much space for filling, then it was padded out with rocket. The sandwich was dry and hard work to eat. Was the same with my other halfs baguette too, which was a different kind so its clearly how they do things there. Sausage roll was nice but I wont go back.
