We had an anti-theft device that worked perfectly for around 10 years. Their sales representative came in and convinced us to change to a Bates product. Delivery and fitting were fine but very quickly we realised that the item didn't actually work. Frequently we would test it and it wouldn't beep when we walked through with a tag.
After chasing constantly we finally started to get a response from Mr. Bates himself and three engineer visits later we were finally told that we had been sold in tags which weren't compatible with the new system. We asked to exchange the tags and never heard back.
If you want an anti-theft system that works, and a company that won't missell you products that aren't suitable then please do yourself a favour and find a different company to work with.
