A welcoming stay with friendly staff, located in a gorgeous, peaceful setting - you'd be missing out if you didn't take half an hour or so to enjoy the grounds. A spectacular morning songbird awakening. The breakfast was delicious with cheerful, chilled music whilst enjoying a view across the grounds with ponds and immaculately kept grounds. The bed and pillows were comfortable - coming from fussy sleepers - and the room and bathroom, whilst compact, were adequate for a short stay. Would highly recommend. Was slightly unsure about booking because of the wedding venue element but we felt very comfortable during our stay. Just a short drive to village and plenty of dining options. Will definitely be returning.
