I think that it was only when hearing others' horror stories that we began to fully appreciate Andrew's work. We live in a listed 250+ year old house which he has transformed, without destroying and often enhancing the period features. He has spent a year or so working here. Every job has been complicated by the age of the house and it's attendant problems and nothing was ever straightforward. When he returned a couple of months after finishing to see what 'snagging' needed doing there was none. Everything worked as it should, was a pleasure to look at and live in. Very often his suggestions as to how to do things were what made the difference between the mundane and the wow factor. I thought of adding photos but doubt they would do the job(s) justice. If somebody is serious about using Andrew, then I would be happy to show them what he has done here. If, however you want a lick of paint and a quick bodge he is NOT your man.
