We took two small children on the Santa train and it was brilliant- 15 minutes total (with a 1 and 3 year old youll know this is a benefit). We stopped in Santas grotto and received presents, then returned through the Christmas lights and back round. There was also a roundabout at the entrance for children to go on. As its attached to the garden centre, you can then go in and visit the cafe or look at the Christmas displays. Its a great place to spend a few hours particularly around Christmas time. Will return next year. The staff are pleasant and friendly,

This is such a hidden gem. My little boy adores it. It's really good value for a little train ride with a stop off at the 'secret' play area. The staff are lovely and so enthusiastic too.
