Why don't they make it clear on the website that it is APOINTMENT ONLY AND PUT A HUGE SIGN UP I get it is their home..their rules. Instead of intimidating a young family with their Rottwellers mske it clear that you CALL FIRST. And cash only in the shop???? Really??? "If some folks say cash only these days it means some folk may also only wish to bypass HMRC". NOT NICE FRIENDLY OLD MEN more paranoid and grumpy I would say

Been to the cuckooland place today (you must phone and book first) what an amazing place to visit run by 2 brothers, they have a vast knowledge of them and who they once belonged to, lots of history to each piece. They also repair if anyone wants one fixing. The detail in one piece of wood they are carved from is very detailed in every way. You couldn't choose 1 clock as a favourite as every one was different in detail and very different, there was carved birds,hares, boars, and even conkers well worth a visit. Very disappointed with the service in the cuckoo clock shop with the brothers ,we agreed a price for a cuckoo clock before Christmas and now after lockdown the price has gone up a lot .very upset after looking forward to getting the clock and waiting along time with COVID regulations in place will not be doing business with them
