Weybourne railway station

Dad's Army live weekend over the Bank Holiday. Weybourne became Warmington-on-sea Blessed with great weather No parking at Weyborne Station but that is a great excuse to ride the steam trains from Holt or Sheringham Period events at the station this weekend. Refreshments doing a roaring trade. 40s live music. And the Dad's Army live group who were very entertaining Take some time to look around the station building. Beautifully restored.

Very good stopped here on the Santa Train and I have to say it was so well planned and the staff were so friendly and really made this a trip to remember well worth doing

Well kept station great to be here as Dads Army was filmed here and other shows I am sure. Also nice to see all locos not in service in the yards.

Lovely well kept station in the style of it all the way back to the 1910's under GER ownership, a real credit to the volunteers who really do work hard to keep this station looking for magnificent! Even down to the period era toilets in the gents made by Mr Thomas Crapper! Nice little cafe/shop and book shop on the platform with footbridge and ideal for some good photo opportunities!
