Absolutely lovely venue, we had great communication from first enquiry to the last dance! All our guests complimented the food, the canaps didnt stop coming out and the food we had at our wedding breakfast was fantastic! We opted for the gold menu, (antipasti, beef roast and trio of desserts) and all plates were cleared! The day itself ran smoothly and we were lucky enough to use the new prep room which was just brilliant! Even with 9 of us getting ready, 2 photographers and 3 people doing hair and make up it was a calm and spacious environment! If you are looking for a personal venue, with people who care about your day then look no further!

I honestly don't know where to start. We fell in love with this venue the minute we laid eyes on it, and was in such a rush to book the venue. We were thoroughly looked after by Alex and Sam at the beginning, who answered all the 20,000 questions we had, and had us excited from the get go. We live an hours drive from the venue, so as you can imagine it was difficult to keep going back and forth when we needed to, but the team made it super easy and helped us out at every stage. I was naturally a bit nervous when Sam went on maternity leave, as I'd been talking all things wedding with her, but the transition over to the rest of the team was phenomenal and it felt like they'd all become a part of our extended family. On the day, everyone at Maidens Barn catered to our every need. They helped us when it rained, made sure we always had a drink in our hands, and helped me out in my dress every single time. It honestly felt like we had friends working at the venue, and it's been hard not speaking to them since our big day. Everyone has been so complimentary about the venue -we had family and friends come from all parts of the country, and they instantly fell in love with the venue as much as we did. All our suppliers have rave reviews, complimenting the staff and venue as one of the best they've worked with. They're dog friendly, which meant our little Jack Russell could be a part of our day, which meant everything to me. We booked all the rooms in the Hayloft and the Honeymoon cottage, which was incredibly comfy for everyone. It was lovely to be all together in the morning with our close friends and family. (My only change would be if you could rent out the honeymoon cottage the day before, as you don't feel like you get an awful lot of time in there to enjoy it!) The new Bridal Prep room was a godsend - it was big enough for us all to get ready in, be comfy, and get the prosecco popping and coffees for the not-so-morning people. If we could get married all over again, we would absolutely have it at Maidens Barn, and would recommend everyone else does too!
