I've worked with Tim for some months now and have found his work to be excellent and on time. His knowledge of CAD software is very good, as are his standards of technical drawing. His ability to understand and interrogate designs has proven to be very useful and frequently provides alternative design & manufacturing options. We will continue to work with Tim for many more months I hope!

Tim at Whitehorse CAD was fantastic from start to finish. I contacted Tim regarding some CAD drawings we required for a project which had an urgent time scale. He was extremely efficient, and his communication skills were spot on. He gave me a realistic time scale and continuous updates throughout the designs. The finished project was extremely detailed and exactly what we were looking for. I would highly recommend Tim.

Having worked with this company for some time, I am delighted to post a excellent review on their behalf. I have found that the proprietor has a sometimes surprising breadth and depth of knowledge of, sometimes some unusual materials that we occasionally work with, as well as the everyday norm, which is reflected in his mechanical design and engineering drawings. It is also extremely helpful that he frequently provides us with 3D prints of his designs which in the long run saves us cost and effort, whilst aids significantly in speeding up the decision making process.

I recently came to Tim with an idea I had for our business. We sell a number of Folio Boxes which included matted prints. I wanted to create some stands for the matted prints so that our clients could display their prints around their houses but I couldn't find any that I liked the look of online. So, instead, I approached Tim with a few thoughts and asked if he could help. Within a couple of days, Tim presented us with a couple of different options and designs. He had tested them out with our matts to ensure that they worked and then sent us a couple of prototypes to see what we thought. We immediately knew that we had made the right decision in asking Tim to design these for us as the prototypes were almost spot on (and not what we had in our heads originally at all but so much better!). We tweeked a couple of things together and now we have a great product that we thoroughly enjoy gifting to our clients when they purchase our Folio Boxes. Tim made the whole process quick, easy and painfree. He turned our idea into a reality!

I recently commissioned some custom promotional gifts to be designed and manufactured for our business and we are absolutely thrilled with the results; in fact White Horse CAD have surpassed our expectations by quite some measure! After chatting with them initially just to explore a concept alone, the first thing that impressed me was that Tim spent some considerable time assessing our needs in far more detail than we would have anticipated. Beyond the given requirements (for custom branded mobile phone stands) Tim was keen to further understand more exactly how and why the items would be used. White Horse CAD then began to make not one, but several prototypes for our approval during which time even identifying that the CAD developers own software had a flaw (which Tim got them to quickly fix) where a tiny, virtually indistinguishable small corner appeared to be cut off (*see pic below!) Costing and timelines were always made clear and the finished sample was superb. We then commissioned Tim to manufacture a low quantity run for us in-house and finally when delivered we were further surprise and delighted to find they had supplied each one carefully wrapped and individually boxed (where other firms we have used in the past supply bulk packaged and separately charge for gift packaging). White Horse CAD are not only supremely talented but quite perfectionists. The quality of workmanship is astounding, every single, tiny detail attended. The finished product is practical, reliable, functional and built especially for us from the ground up literally! (3D printed which I understand layers from the bottom to the top). Our original remit was the ability for the stands to hold a mobile phone in fact despite the small size we wanted, Tims design was to such a high standard as to enable secure, upright support of the very largest 12 tablets and iPads (yes, a foot high!) entirely stably too - increasing the product benefits several times over. (This has turned out to be the most useful feature of all which we would had never even considered possible ourselves). But the one thing we particularly adore, Tim has cunningly shaped the base of the stand itself into the very E font of our own company logo. Genius! To say were hugely impressed with the quality of Tims clever work is an understatement if you have a new product design or manufacture requirement, I simply cant recommend White Horse CAD highly enough.
