I went into clarks at Hexham this morning wanting some non slip boots. After choosing the ones I liked I asked for help, the young assistant looked at me as if I was quite mad. I sat down to try them on but having arthritic back and knees the body was not willing. I had to give up in the end. I can not believe a 'high end' shoe shop are reluctant to help seniors. In this current economic climate Clarks must be doing very well when they can afford to turn customers away.
