Wonderful independent bookshop with staff who have always taken the time to help me find what I'm looking for or recommend something suited to my tastes.

There is always an interesting selection of books, not based on a central purchasing department. Friendly staff, cosy atmosphere, and in an interesting town.

Brilliant independent bookshop tucked down a Hexham side street. A breath of fresh air compared to eg Waterstones. Attractive layout, comprehensive and wide ranging stock especially good on e.g. walking and history, and a well chosen mini section on Hadrians Wall. Good fiction section too. Whats not to like!?
