Hello I would like to thank & give ward 4 & ward 2 huge thanks from myself and family Last year my mother Vicki Broadhead was in ward 4 and just recently on ward 2 . The staff on both wards & of every job role . They go over and above Im sure what their job description is A smile ,a kind word , empathy to family & patient alike ,encouragement, sincerity , patience , professionalism & the confident air of authority when needed . Thanks so much .It made me want to work with them as they work so well as a team Feel so grateful to have Hexham General hospital on our doorstep.You the staff deserve to be appreciated and for it to shown in your pay packets & working terms and conditions. I have numbness on my arm, fingers. Week hand. Pain on shoulder (Additionally back and hip problem) I came to discuss possible solutions for my arm and shoulder pain, coz due to pain Im not fully functional, getting depressed and orthopedic said that there is no treatment existing for my problem and compared it to cancer. I think if any doctor has not enough knowledge to identify problem- should say it. Its not a shame. But to make general conclusions - unprofessional. He said that I just should live with it. Unprofessional. He had mri of my neck. He checked report but didnt look at actual mri. Unprofessional. He didnt have any scan of my shoulder, elbow to see whats going there but made conclusion- no treatment can help. Unprofessional. I was waiting for appointment few month. Waste of time. Extremely unprofessional.

Chipped a bone on my wrist. On follow up given a full cast for 3 weeks. So far great service.
