We ran out of heating oil yesterday I called in at carrs because I was in hexham and ordered more oil and it came that day can't thank the girls and Simon enough for what they did for us when they were so busy. Thank you. Top service

Due to a faulty meter we ran out of fuel during the snow spell. I Rang within minutes of discovering this when it was getting down to -8 overnight. No heating or hot water. I Asked for urgent delivery and an eta. I understand this was my problem and not Carrs Billington but on separate occasions over the next two days no-one could tell me when I might get the oil delivered. I was put through to Carlisle after ringing the Hexham number and was told to hang up and call back. I asked if they couldn't check the system anyway. No was the answer. Why divert to Carlisle if they can't help? Everyone I spoke to was not in the slightest bothered by our situation. Nowhere else do you place an order and then just wait for them to bring it in their own time without a clue as to when it might arrive. I'm spending just short of 800 with then. Is a little service too much to ask for? Currently sat in my car to keep warm. I'm not asking for priority service just information so I can manage my life over this cold snap. Very disappointed.
