Steve is a true gent, a man with some real skill and knowledge in this trade!
i arrived at his door with a dashboard from a Jaguar that suffered a common fault that meant the leather had lifted from the base due to the wrong fitment, method of fitment and possibly defective adhesive? anyway Steve had a look and was very honest about what he could do in reality with the current material and what his concerns would be attempting to repair the dashboard with the remaining leather, this was due to me wanting to keep that original piece on the dashboard base so it was all original still.
I decided to take Steve's advice and not risk having to fit new leather to the entire dashboard that would not be original, Steve actually pulled away some of the worst parts and refitted them to tidy it all up and it looked great!
Steve never even charged me! he refused payment because he had not really used any of his serious skills to do that small part for me, i did however promise him a crate of his favourite beer which i still owe him! sorry Steve! just know i have not forgot!
This man will take on probably any job and complete it with great success and more to please you i am sure of it!
Steve is not a money grabber! he genuinely wants to help you love your vehicle that little bit more again using his skills!
