Avoid this company at all costs, absolute waste of time. Took 7 hours to get a recovery vehicle to me through my breakdown insurance. If you ring them up they are just full of excuses. Seems like they prioritise certain jobs over others!

Automania is the service provider of AutoTrust to offer breakdown service. A puncture from wednesday night still unresolved on Saturday, as the company decides to deliver a different solution (which does not work) to what is agreed with the call center. The vehicle had to be towed away on Thursday, instead the operator used my own foam kit. Which failed the next day. We are now saturday and the tow truck had instructions to take me to a kwik fit, while I have already purchased tyre and foam kit at the garage where I was told twice my vehicle should be taken to. They repeatedly fail to inform the customer or the service provider about these discrepancies ahead of time. I am very frustrated by a pathetically low level of service. Avoid if you can.

Called my rescue service as I had a flat battery in January 2022. they sent Automania out. My five year old battery had completely had it. So the Automania engineer asked if I would like to purchase a new battery as he had one in his van. I agreed to purchase the new battery, and it was fitted by the Automania engineer, (an Exide with a 3 year warranty) I carried on using my car as I normally do over the last five years, but if I left this battery for two weeks it would end up flat, not like my old battery that would be fine after leaving it for two weeks. I called Automania to see if they could come and test the battery and replace it under warranty. But the customer service person said I would have to call my rescue company, to call Automaina out to look at the battery. Why, my rescue company didn't fit the the new battery, Automania did, so its up to them to come out under the battery warranty to find out if the battery is faulty or my charging system. I was told on the phone that my mileage must be wrong on my vehicle as it is low for the age of the vehicle, well maybe they should come and look instead of making accusations about how I use my vehicle. So don't buy anything from Automania that has a warranty, as they don't seem to Honour it Service: Battery
