The owner needs to work on his customer service and general moodiness. He's either off-putting or quite frankly aggressive. The toilet / shower facilities are woeful. The swim coach guy advertises Ice Mile events - yes, cold, yes a mile....Google it guys, this is NOT an Ice Mile Swim. Water Safety measures - below par compared to other sites and 100% reliant on the users to 'police' self snd others. The cafe staff and the general manager Andy are very friendly. The cafe cakes etc are good. The terrace can be a lovely sun trap. Lots of parking spaces. Great atmosphere.

Lovely venue. With some nice attractions. The food and drinks can't complain too. But, having to spend 15 mins to surface due to reverse ear squeeze which made us on shore and by the car by 1635. The gent working decided to be extremely rude and obnoxious with us. Even after apologising and explaining about the reverse squeeze issue. He said he couldn't care less and barred us from the site. By that conclusion we should have just burst our eardrums.

Not a swimmer myself, but the diving centre looks like a great resource for for those who do. For somewhere to spend an hour with the kids, you can buy fish food from the reception and watch the massive carp as they feed. Food is available at the cafe, all day breakfast is served amongst other fare.
