CGB Bathroom & Wet Room Specialists LTD

Wow!! Where do I start? What a cowboy company. Chris and his workers were sub contracted to do my wet room. They made such a mess of my whole house. 1st October they started and still not been back to replace my lounge flooring that they damaged with the flood they caused by breaking the Stop Tap and saying nothing. The 1st plumbers started on a Friday. They put a foot through my lounge ceiling. Big18 inch hole which was left for 2weeks till we complained to the main contractor it was covered over and painted eventually but it is a big eyesore. They finished a 2day job in 1/2 a day as he had to take his dog to the vets. They left us with a empty bathroom with a toilet in the middle of the room with no top on it, and no door on and the snapped stop tap flooding the lounge. Emergency plumber 1am till 2-30 am in the early hours. We are both 65yrs old.we was left for4 days till Tuesday till anybody came. After that it just all went down hill completely. The ceiling leaking all weekend. The electrician put a nail through a water pipe which Chris turned and said another one to add to your list of doom very sarcastic. On 14th day ( it was down for 10) Chris said its all finished and walked out. The ceiling wasnt done at all and my lounge laminate was a bubbled mess. No repairs to the damage they had done. We had to call the main contractor who came out. He got the ceiling painted the next day ( after 4 weeks) but it wasnt matched up and looks a mess. He said Chris would come and replaced my lounge flooring. 2 days after he delivered boxes of flooring and said he would be in touch when he had got someone to lay it. 6th January and weve still heard nothing what so ever. Worse company Ive ever had to deal with.

In MY experience the quality of works carried out at my home whilst installing a disabled wet room were very very poor, when I raised this with Chris one of the owners he tried to give me a load spiel and wouldnt take on board my opinions or worries, I had no option but to speak with the surveyor who made the main contractor aware as CGB Bathrooms was a sub contractor, he came to me about 10-15 mins later asking why I spoke with surveyor and not him !! I just I tried but you wouldnt listen, then a few days later I asked his workers to leave my home as I was sick of botched works and my home being disrespected. I wont allow them back into my home again and would ask anyone to think carefully but get all works in writing and timescales with penalties in the contract before using them, they told me a week and it still wasnt done when I asked them to leave at the start of the 3rd week. Beware guys please.
