Woodhead Farm Caravan Site Catterlen Penrith

This is a first class site, with immaculate shower and toilet facilities and very easy access from M6 and A66. The owners are really friendly and helpful and it's lovely to be at the centre of a working livestock farm. Lamb Olympics last week were very entertaining! It's very convenient for a transit stop between England and Scotland as many have said, but it's so much more than that. It gives easy access to the Lakes, especially the Northern ones, and also to the Eden Valley which is often overlooked. It will be on my visiting list for many a year to come!

Met by a lovely friendly lady. Small site easy access to M6, we didn't hear it just the bleeting of the sheep and the beautiful little lambs. Showers hot and very spacious. Walked 1.8 miles to The Sun Inn, nice walk bit hilly in parts for me hubby was fine, I'm not so fit . Would definitely recommend

Lovely place, we had the cook house cottage for a week and couldn't really fault it. Private, warm, clean and had everything we needed.
