Elle's Kitchen in Hertford

Been here many many many times and had the sensational chilli beef, it is by far the best dish on the menu and perfectly complimented by their coconut rice. Can't wait to go back one day!

I visited for lunch, being enticed by a board outside saying 7.95 for one course and only 2 more for a starter. Worth a try, I thought. But when I looked at the menu it was 8.95 for chicken. I opted for Thai red curry together with chicken satay starter. Everything tasted good but the curry was yellow rather than red. Maybe supermarkets and other places add red colour. The atmosphere was spoiled by staff walking up and down the room quite frequently. It was almost like they needed to work on deliveries and customers are a bit of an inconvenience. It got worse after one more table was taken. A teenager pushed through a small gap behind my chair and knocked my coat on to the floor. I was beginning to feel as if it was time to leave and with no reason to ever return.

Vegetarian options: Multiple options for vegetarians or vegans. Wide variety of delicious foods to choose from Kid-friendliness: All inclusive, the staff are so kind and always help. Dietary restrictions: Multiple options for people with allergies or gluten free of vegan. Very nice place.
