Hertfordshire Spanish School

I had always wanted to learn Spanish and saw an advertisement for the Hertfordshire Spanish school in a local cafe. So I signed up to the beginners class and have just completed my 10 week course with Begona. Cost of the course was very reasonable and the classes fitted in well with my weekly schedule. Learning Spanish was a lot harder than I realised it would be, you do need to put the effort in at home as well. I enjoyed the course and have come away with the basic understanding of the language and hope to do the next stage later in the year.

Ive just completed a 10 week beginner course and really enjoyed the class experience. Its helped build my confidence, especially the speaking side of learning the language. It is a massive bonus that the teacher Begona is Spanish and very patient. Im looking forward to the start of the next term in April.

I highly recommend Begoa and the Hertfordshire Spanish School. The Beginners course was well structured, well paced and very supportive. Begoa creates a friendly class atmosphere where you feel comfortable and able to give things a go. If you are just starting out with learning Spanish, this is an ideal course to gain confidence. I would recommend the Hertfordshire Spanish School. The lessons cover a variety of interesting topics and there is a good mix of grammar, written work, listening and speaking. The group is friendly and supportive which encourages you to "have a go".

I really enjoy my Spanish classes with Begona. I felt I had to push myself out of my comfort zone if I was really going to progress with learning the language and so originally signed up for the face to face classes. Lockdown put a stop to those but transferring to online was easy and convenient. The classes are fun but challenging so I always come away thinking Ive learned something new. Begona is particularly good at engaging with the students and creating a social atmosphere. She also organises the occasional meet up between different classes for some home-cooked Spanish food and cinema! Id definitely recommend you give these a go.
