Such a lovely little place for little ones to learn to ride. Great that they offer short lessons for really young ones where they can groom, feed carrots etc too. Children can work towards their Pony Club badges too learning practical skills alongside their riding which my daughter absolutely loves alongside other horse mad kids. Josies great if theyre a bit nervous or unsure and really caring and knowledgeable.

After researching this business online I have discovered it is unlicensed to be a riding school, also described as a non profit organisation? The pictures I have seen of the clear abuse of the ponies is horrific. Their current yard has zero grazing for the ponies also. More needs to be done to protect animals from treatment like this. Its disgusting.

Brilliant riding school. The owner is very patient with our daughter and the horses and ponies are clearly loved. Ignore all the recent negative reviews that have been left in an organised manner to discredit the owner. This is a great riding school charging reasonable prices. Our daughter looks forward to her weekly sessions and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.

Booked a session last year and am only leaving a review now, as I read some other equally appalling posts about this place recently. Emailed the owner to say it would be for my daughters first birthday (wanted a meet and greet and sit on the pony) she told me which session would be most suitable to book! I booked a few months in advance. When I turned up the owner told me that shed completely forgotten about my booking and it was her birthday and she normally doesnt take bookings on her birthday and made it very clear she didnt want to be there. I was really taken aback, she then showed me where the tack was and said I had to tack up the pony myself (seeing I had a one year old in my arms I found it bizarre)! She begrudgingly helped tack the pony up but that was it. I then spent a very awkward twenty minutes with my daughter stroking the pony (I couldnt even put my daughter on the pony as there was nobody to help)! Totally unprofessional and rude! It was actually a really unpleasant experience and I would never recommend taking children to this place. This wasnt a progressional riding school in fact Im not sure what it was.
