Disappointment is an understatement. We went expecting to see what they advertise on their Facebook page. Please be aware that they are very selective as to what they post there. Its nothing like that. The farm is aimed at younger children, but the three people working there were incredibly rude, stood there shouting and swearing at each other in front of all of the young visitors. Not to mention that they all seemed drunk or high. We arrived only to be chaperoned straight into the field by a rather rude woman who we can only assume to be the owner. Once we were in the field, we had no choice but to pay the extortionate entry price. We were going to look from the car park first and see if it looked worth the visit (it didnt). She charged us 10 per adult and 9 per child, and to stand in a muddy field and stroke a few pigs, I think thats a bit of a scam. Free drinks and cakes are included in the price, but there was no food hygiene sticker displayed and the floor outside the kitchen door was littered with cigarette butts. Hence, we did not eat anything there. There was no toilet paper or soap in the only toilet on the premises. This leads me onto mentioning the health and safety issues. In the fields, there was sharp metal sticking out of the ground, they advertise this as a nice place to have a family picnic. Overall, our experience was awful. From the rude staff, to the pressure selling, to the obvious health and safety issues, this was a wasted day out and a wasted 40. I would recommend that you steer well clear of this establishment.

Lovely location and views but...its a bit of a mess and needs a lot of improvement. My main gripe is the tea and cake experience; the crockery was dirty, the cakes are not homemade and are cheap, dry, supermarket cakes. The cutlery for the cakes was plastic so not environmentally friendly. If you provide a metal spoon for tea then go one step further and provide a metal fork! the animals are all over the place and you have to walk across fields to see them. Thats fine as the views are pretty but a clear walking path should be marked out as it wasnt clear if you should go through some gates or not due to a sign saying private land keep out. The fields need better maintenance as it was absolutely CAKED in poo. Animals poo and thats fine but if this is advertised as children friendly and for picnics then I certainly want a clean area to sit. There was no hand washing facilities; only one toilet and sink and one sanitiser right at the top of the hill. There should be more options due to animals and poo everywhere. Plus the pigs run loose in the cafe area so not hygienic as they try and eat your food when you are seated at the table. I wont be returning.

I will definitely be coming back!!! Everything is very reasonably priced for such an emersive experience. You can actually walk up to the animals out in the field and you can even get a cute spread of tea, biscuits, crisps, and cakes!!! I do definitely recommend bringing some wellies since it's obviously outdoors, but absolutely no complaints

Visited today, 10 Adult 9 Child entrance which included unlimited food platter i.e. Cakes, veg sticks, fruit, biscuits, sweets and crisps, tea, coffee, juice or water. Sounds a great offer. I can see the potential in this place. However the owner needs to concentrate on getting things sorted out. Food Hygiene Standards should be adhered to, Staff should be wearing gloves and aprons when handling food, you should display food standards certificate, tables need to be wiped over after use. Wash basins or hand sanitisers should be available by each petting station. No hand drier or paper towels in toilet. Health and Saftey needs to be addressed lots of broken and disused equipment. Signage and information about the animals so customers can learn about what breeds were there. On the plus side, animals were very friendly and are well looked after.
