Sovereign Dry Cleaners

Bad customer service. I used this dry cleaners in the past and I usually would pay for the items and the details would be put into the computer and I would pay for them and be given a receipt. When I would come to collect my items I would usually give my name and my items would be given back to me. Today I came and said "hello") and gave my surname and told I had two items to collect which I dropped before Christmas. The man clearly couldn't understand any English as he looked at two items and declared that my items were missing. Then the other man came out (my assumption is that it was the owner) and found it straight away but started accusing me of not having a receipt. The ironic thing was neither of them even asked me for my receipt to start with. In order to help to identify me I suggested them to check their data in the computer just to verify the order. He asked me my phone and I gave him three last digits of my mobile phone and he said it was wrong. It was not wrong. Before Christmas a lady who was taking my order actually took my number from my phone. To cut the long story short I did get my two jumpers back but I will not be using them ever again. I do appreciate that the receipts are important and I did provide the card I paid for my dry-cleaning items and it was my idea for them to see that at least my exactly the same.) I also described by pieces of clothing. The laptop had all my details which they couldn't be bothered to open. I only ever communicated with two ladies in this shop before and never had any issues with them but these two chaps need some kind of training to improve the way they communicate with their customers. The situation was not about the receipt but about the owner taking the frustration for his member of staff who can barely speak English to find my items. He was looking for them 2 minutes maximum. Even if people read through the replies the owner had given to the customers here they can see the way he communicates.

Really helpful, and prompt. The staff really try to help you out in a hurry. I needed my suit cleaned for a wedding at they did it on the same day.

Thank you so much Sovereign Dry Cleaner who managed to remove a few, deep oil marks off my new pink jacket. The lovely man was so friendly and knew exactly what to do to remove the stains, he was full of knowledge and confidence. Mort of all, he did not charge me as there were only a few marks but very noticeable! A great service and an extremely generous and kind business.
