My son has been attending gymnastics classes for 6 weeks and his confidence and abilities have greatly improved under the care of Mrs Wesley and more recently Tess. They strike a good balance between discipline and fun and we couldn't be happier! It's definitely not just for girls and my husband has been made to feel very welcome.

Money grabbing. Shameless. Ruthless. Seems like many parents are jumping ship on this club at the moment. For the life of me I can't work out why they're only jumping now!? We went for half a term, it was plain to see they were only after your money. Every opportunity to charge you for something was taken, even to watch your kids perform! Regular leotard changes, which had to be bought at over the top prices, hiked up costs for everything, then grabbing an old shed of a building to call a 'purpose built gym', yeah right! It's a dump. Asking parents to come and paint it for them to save on decorators and expecting the parents to 'bring their own paint and kit!" Beyond a joke. Kids as young as 6 are being made to do 6 hours of gym a week, told extra classes are mandatory. Their poor growing bodies! Really think twice!

My oldest daughter joined HGA 2 years ago, age 6 only able to do a cartwheel ( she did 3 months with another club prior to this, but it was very slow progression and i knew she wanted more and had been told how quickly they progress at HGA) within 6 months she was competing within the tumbling squad, and doing skills that I still cant believe she can do. My youngest daughter has recently joined and is enjoying the sport also. The coaches are amazing and take time to get to know all the gymnasts really well. I get regular updates on how my daughters are doing, what they have achieved and what short term and long term goals they are working on with their coach. My daughters have spent a lot of gym life on zoom, for the coaches to engage such a wide age group on zoom has been amazing. I totally believe as much as my oldest daughter would have always preferred to be in the gym tumbling the zoom's have been a really important support network for her in this tough time, enabling her to continue something she loves.
