        Wonderful, friendly, proactive community shop, which is part of the warm patina of life in a village such as Herstmonceux. Village life is part of the vanishing vistas of a gentler life in our Sussex communities. It's refreshing living in a community where your name is known and we all share the common denominator as being part of the community. Can't imagine what life would be without the warm welcome of our community shop and the kind people within.

        Always extremely helpful and polite. I've just witness the most amazing patience and care given to a vulnerable older customer. Information explained over and over and questions answered time and again. When I said to the people behind the counter how they were amazing they explained that they had also protected this person from text scammers etc. We are lucky to have you and thank you!
