        It was great fishing until a man decided to swim around the lake at 6.30 in the morning. Then the fish disappeared, which after paying 50 for two 24 hour sessions was quite disappointing. Some of the fish have torn mouths from over fishing or dodgy rigs. Apart from that it's a nice place to fish.

        Such a shame this lake was epic in its day many years ago, yet its vastly under stocked now with only a few large(ish ) carp in now. Glamping has ruined what was the best lake in Sussex I wont ever return. Dont recommend to anyone unless your a tiddler bashers on poles etc. Staff are great. Just wish someone with a fishing head owned it. Pray to god someone wins lotto and buys it for the fishing! RIP to the best lake ever. Such a shame sad to say it's where I started with great fishing
