        On a recent visit to London we chanced upon Brockwell Park while exploring Brixton. What a beautiful and open space. I love the Lido there, which we also enjoyed. And I was impressed by the garden project that invites volunteers to help and learn about growing herbs and vegetables. There is also a spacious playground, tennis courts, a cafe, a pizzeria, a walled garden full of flowers, hedges and roses (that were not in bloom when we visited) and a pond to be found. I cant claim we checked everything but I loved it there.
