Iconic pub. Charming clapboard house standing singly right on Whitstable beach. In the summer the outdoor pub tables allow you to sit almost on top of the sea. Pub allows dogs and the staff are really friendly. Decent pub grub. The inside is cosy in the winter and the bar sits on what only can be described as a hill in the floor...maybe caused by the sea's waves managing to get right into the building at one point. As a local it's my favourite pub in Whitstable and its a must visit...

Lovely spot and reasonable priced, lots of staff coming around constantly to make sure you are ok for drinks and clearing tables Only reason I gave a 4 is my S&P squid was over done by quiet a lot but everyone elses meals were spot on Will be back in the future

Lovely pub on the beach, pricey food and drinks but no more so than anywhere else nearby. Had crab and prawn sandwiches, chips and cheesy chips (cold grated cheese added to a regular portion, not melted cheese) and a dozen oysters. Overcharged by accident but quickly put right.
