Herne Bay Tandoori Indian Takeaway

Im generally very patient with any food delivery services but this was disappointing. The order took over 2 and a half hours to arrive and the advertised phone number continuously showed user busy which gave me no option to communicate with the restaurant. Using Uber eats, we managed to find a mobile number which I called 8 times before a pickup. At this time the restaurant told me that the order was on the way however it did not arrive for another 45 minutes when we are a 15 minute drive away tops.

Placed an order through their website as told that's there preference and had mistakes when ordering over the phone. Never receive any confirmation and have to hope for the best. This evening 45 after eta no food and phone off the hook. Will never use again!

Disgusting excuse for food, completely inedible Saag paneer was melted cheese, not paneer, rancid cream & pathetic bits of chopped spinach added as an afterthought Lamb bhuna was ridiculously salty & caked in fat The daal was blended into a tasteless paste Chicken pakora was lumps of slimy chicken in panko breadcrumbs! Atrocious, worst food Ive ever experienced

I had the vegetable dunsak and tasted how it was described to be on the website. It was just the right amount of spice and sweet. I enjoyed it a lot, the food came on time and was hot. Would definitely order from here again

There are a lot of Indian Takeaways in Herne Bay, but none specialising in Hyderabadi, and vegetarian southern Indian food, but Herne Bay Tandoori is my absolute favourite for northern Indian food. All of the meat tastes like its been marinated for days before it reaches your mouth in all of its smoky, and spicy glory.
