        Surprisingly disappointed. Rang this company to get a quote for replacing a consumer unit, an extremely common upgrade/job. AE told me, after a sharp intake of breath; "I try to steer clear of those...." - but eventually went to tell me that when he does do them, it would be at least 600! I couldn't believe my ears! What electrician turns down a straight consumer unit change? The attitude was so negative, that I just got off the phone as quickly as possible. I found another local electrician that did the work for 300, including testing and certification lodged with the council's building control.
