Ruined my wedding suit jacket. Handed over my wedding suit jacket in perfect condition to be cleaned before a friends wedding. Picked it up the following week and there are several very obvious tears on the front right lapel. I dropped it straight back off to them and noted the damage. I was told the owner would be in contact that evening. After not hearing anything back the following day, I had to chase them for an update. The owners are denying any responsibility and refusing to make it right. There were no marks on the suit when I handed it over and the lady at the desk didnt make any notes of damage (they are so obvious that she would have noted them instantly.) The owner is claiming the marks are caused by moths (this suit was from Hugo Boss and is stored in a suit bag at all times with zero moths). The damage is very clearly from cuts or tears from jewellery or tools. It doesnt remotely resemble moth holes. When I spoke to the lady on the phone while chasing an update, I said that no damage had been marked down when I handed it over originally and she just rudely replied well, that wasnt me. I now have to source another suit for my friends wedding while I attempt to have this one repaired. Dont trust these people with any valuable items. Edit 2022-10-05 in response to below - there are 5 distinct holes all larger than pin holes - the wedding was 6 years ago and the suit has been worn and cleaned many times since - my boutonnire was on the top left lapel ( I have the photos to prove ) This review was in response to the utter indifference I was shown in your shop yesterday. Perhaps youd like to review your response in light of the above details and improve your customer service.
